Notiz: NORTH AUGUSTA -- Mrs. Denise Caron Albiez, 78, died peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2009. Born in Louiseville, Quebec, Canada, on April 6, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ada Caron. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Henry O. Albiez; their two children, Karen Brooks (her husband Charles) of Columbia and Erik Albiez of Charleston, as well as their two beloved grandchildren, Caroline and Houston Brooks. She also leaves behind two brothers, Marcel Caron of Louiseville, Quebec, Canada, and Henri Caron of Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada; and seven nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, Dr. Pierre Caron of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Denise Albiez was a world traveler, avid reader and musicophile who will be remembered by all who knew her for her keen wit. She was also a member of the French Alliance Club.
